The project will create a modern, higher-capacity football stadium for Seville.
The project will be undertaken in phases.
Phase 1 includes excavation work and the installation of a retaining system using diaphragm walls, required for the construction of the below-grade levels. In parallel, over the coming months, both parties will continue to refine the project’s technical approach and optimize its final design under a collaborative delivery model, in which Real Betis Balompié and ACCIONA work as a team to develop the best solutions.
Phase 2 will involve the construction of the new stadium, including the new Preferencia stand, upgrades to the Gol Norte, Fondo and Gol Sur stands, as well as the development of an adjoining mixed-use building.
The project includes several levels of underground parking, together with a new roof and façade for the stadium.
